am nearly done with chapter - it's not due till next fri (yay for crappy memory!)- but have decided to kill it this weekend anyway -
it's going well: lots of rearranging and wriggling in structure - am now wondering how ppl listening to the conf paper version of it managed to make sense of it at all! haha. but yep, not long now. just a couple more paragraphs to write up then a section to edit then i'm done done done :)

had a moment of clarity when sipping latte after gym this morning -
i want to *finish my book* and i want to *start my next one* really soon! am sick of ppl being promoted who haven't done the mahi - but in order to be rightfully pissed off i have to have done the mahi myself! - not the purest sweetest motivator, maybe, but it works for me!!

That's awesome! Would love to know who are the pretenders you're referring to :-) I need some of that resolve myself - finish it, submit it and move on, yeah!
